Internationality

 

The University of Applied Sciences promotes the international aspect of scientific work in the fields of studies, teaching and research. More than 70 partnerships with universities from abroad are already established.

Within the master’s degree course in Tourism Development Strategies the process of internationalization is demonstrated by various tools, which are integrated into the strategic framework of our program:

bilateral approach
bilingual teaching
focus on intercultural sensitivity
international teaching staff
excursions abroad (networking opportunities with companies are included)
international perspective in lectures
thesis written in English

Within the course of study comparative perspectives on an international level take place. This is carried out by making use of e.g. best-practice concepts, analyses of international tourism markets or intercultural awareness in negotiations.

Additionally, students of the master’s degree course have the chance to spend a study semester abroad.
